Hannah has been with the Fringe team since 2020. She received her education at Mott Community College and has taken many advanced education courses. Being a second generation stylist, Hannah has had a passion for hair since an early age. She assisted under the Fringe team for over 6 months before taking her own clients. Not only does Hannah offer fantastic cuts and colors, but she also offers tape in extensions! She has taken an advanced course on brow shaping and tinting as well. Tammi comes to the salon with over 20 years of massage experience. Certified in advanced massage techniques and Shiatsu since 1987. Tammi was a chiropractic assistant and owned her own practice until 1999 when she became a teacher. Tammi worked in her home part time until 2016 when she joined the Fringe team. Jody Davenport graduated from Durand High School in 2008. During her senior year, she decided to start her career as a nail tech, receiving her nail license by the time she was 17. After working at Fringe for just a couple of months, Jody decided she wanted to learn all aspects of cosmetology. She then started assisting under owner Trisha Browning and signed up for school at Douglas J Aveda Institute graducating in 2011. Jody also has a huge passion for makeup. She has attended numerous classes on makeup, including classes focusing specifically on brides! She has also taken a makeup class from Janell Geason (Aveda's Global Artistic Creative director for makeup) a color class with Ian Michael Black (Aveda's Global Artistic Director for hair color) and Ricardo Dinis ( Aveda's Global Artistic Director for haircutting). Jody has taken advanced hair and nail classes in New York, Chicago, LA and Las Vegas. She has also completed Aveda's runway styling course and has worked backstage at London and New York Fashion Week. Along with her extensive hair education and experience, Jody has taken an advanced acrylic nail course in LA by the experts at Young Nails! Shay has been at Fringe since 2020. She received her education at Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing focusing on hair cutting and color. Shay has been a client of Fringe since she was in the 8th grade and starting assisting under the Fringe team as soon as she decided to go to Douglas J! Shay loves all aspects of cosmology but her favorite is bridal updos and color. She has taken many advanced hair classes including one from Aveda's Global Artistic Director for haircolor, Ian Michael Black. Tara has been with the Fringe team since 2012. She received her education at Douglas J Aveda institute where she found her passion for cutting and perms! Tara offers waxing, cutting and is our salon specialist for perms. She has taken many advanced courses and has had a passion for hair her whole life. Stacy Ellsworth is a hair stylist at Fringe. Stacy attended Douglas J Aveda Institute and graduated in 2005. After graduation, Stacy was an assistant at Ralph Paul in Grand Blanc for 1 year. Sommerset Day Spa is where Stacy started her career as a stylist, and eventually moved to Escape Salon in Flint. Stacy has been a full time stylist at Fringe since 2011! Stacy has attended many advanced education classes in Chicago and has a certification at the Institute of Courage in Los Angeles. She has also taken an advanced haircutting class with Ricardo Dinis (Aveda's Global Artistic Director for haircutting) amongst many other Aveda advanced classes. Stacy also offers tape in extensions! Trisha has had a very strong passion for hair color since an early age. Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing is where she received her education. While going to school, she also was an assistant at a prestigious salon, working under the top stylists and colorists. Trisha's favorite thing to do is color, however she also loves cutting and styling! Trisha has attended many advanced education classes in New York, Las Vegas, Chicago and the Institute of Courage in Los Angeles. She has also taken a color class from Ian Michael Black (Aveda's Creative Artistic Director for hair color) and Ricardo Dinis (Aveda's global director for haircutting). Trisha loves to keep up on all the latest trends and services. Trisha has also worked backstage multiple times at New York and London Fashion week with the Aveda team. Trisha opened Fringe Salon in May of 2010, has over 14 years experience, and is excited to see new faces and service the community!
